Friday we got up and ready, had a quick breakfast then were out seeing (literally) everything there is to see in Cardston! (luckily the kids slept in!) We started at the Courthouse Museum which turned out to be way cooler than expected...though our kids....especially Devin had a really hard time with the no touchy thing, "looking is just so boring" according to Elizabeth, but they survived and had a good time anyway, dang it! ;) After that we went over to the Cardston Temple which is my favorite temple, it was before I knew which temple it actually was! I just love the look of it!! So we went over there and checked out the visitors center where Devin pretended to read the Bible and Elizabeth actually read some of The Book of Mormon, then she realized it was the same as ours and went looking and found Books of Mormon written in lots of different languages which was for more fun! We visited with the sweet ladies for a bit then they put on the movie Legacy which after each having to go to the bathroom, they made it through almost half of before they were too restless to contain anymore. So we thanked the kind ladies and went and got some pictures in front of the temple. Then Devin decided it was time to go back to the car(mostly because it was SUPER windy and that boy HATES wind blowing on him!) but we went to the side of the temple and let Elizabeth run on the beautiful lawn while Devin melted down. He warmed up a bit after a long while but still wasn't a very happy boy until we left. After that we went over to the Pioneer Museum, which was sooo much fun! Very informative! The kids favorite part by far was getting to play with the old fashioned wooden toys that were made so the pioneer children would have a good Christmas! Such a sweet story...and such fun toys! Who needs batteries?!! Then it was lunch time so we went next door to the Pizza and Cream where we had some of the best, most delicious pizza EVER! The ice cream after was just as amazingly delicious!!
