Cranbrook to Kimberley British Columbia

So no post for yesterday as we just drove from Calgary, Alberta to Cranbrook, British Columbia...and that was pretty much it. Today we drove up into Kimberley BC and stopped to see Marysville Falls, they're so pretty! So worth the stop!! Then we went up into the city center which has a fun German theme and some nice gift shops. We had lunch at a little Chinese place that also had "western food"...so basically the guys got their Chinese fix and us gals got our "usual food"! After lunch we checked out the rest of the street and then had our last stop at the candy shop there. After the first shop my dad went to take some bags back to the car and on his way he tripped and had quite the tumble, he insisted he was ok, but after lunch he decided to go rest in the car and when we got back after we were done he was still hurting so we took him to the local hospital to get looked at...knowing the kids wouldn't be very helpful in a waiting room we just wandered main street and checked back a couple times. When all was said and done it was determines that he sprained his left ankle pretty bad, and messed up his left elbow, so we came back to find him sitting in a wheelchair with his arm in a sling and his foot in a boot! Needless to say once back in the motorhome he just laid down and rested for the rest of the night. The kids, Tony and I went to a good friend Kathy Weiss's home as she'd invited us to dinner(which was incredibly yummy!!). It was so good to see and visit with her and her mother again! She also invited a couple other people Tony knew from his mission over and we had a great time visiting!
