LAKE LOUISE and Banff!!

We had a bit of a tragedy this morning...Elizabeth lost a lens(and screw) out of her glasses. She's never really been without her glasses for the nearly two years she's had them and now I know why! She seriously cannot see without them!! She was so sad and scared, it broke my heart. She couldn't even give a high five, she tried but was totally off, she was running into things left and right, and she didn't like it! She kept telling us she wanted to see. :( Luckily a quick stop off at a drugstore on our way out, and Tony got them put back together. But then after she put them back on she told me that she could see better...but it still wasn't right. We've noticed lately her prescription is kinda off but she's never mentioned it to me before so now I KNOW her prescription will need to be adjusted when we go to her ophthalmologist next month. Today we drove up into Banff mainly to see Lake Louise, Tony's been waiting 8 years to see it(he got close to it on his mission but never actually got to it...and we didn't go to Banff on our honeymoon)it's beauty was well worth the anticipation! It's absolutely gorgeous! The water is the prettiest bluish green...a color unlike any other I've seen in a lake anywhere else! We walked along the trail a ways around it(not quite half way) just taking it all in. Elizabeth whined the entire way...she's been SUPER cranky lately(she's also been waking at 6:30am...so that could have something to do with it;) But we enjoyed every view anyway, and even managed to get some good smiles out of her. We went into the "hotel"(they call this particular one a chateau)and looked in the little gift shop. Then we got in the car and found the perfect little place to have a picnic, which we did! Then we drove to Banff Village and wandered the shops there collecting souvenirs along the way. We had dinner at the McDonalds, then Ice cream at a local place then headed back to the motorhome. It was a great day!
